Employee Engagement – How?
Many organizations spend extra resources engaging their employees via changing company culture, deploying extra effort in communication to different levels of employees, promoting work-life balance and caring for employees’ well-being, Etc. However, the result might vary from company to company.
The leadership team is the key contributor to engage employees daily to make it successful. They must carry the same belief as their CEO’s – act from your heart and demonstrate your care and attend to one when he/she is asking.
It is essential to understand that each employee and organization are different as the life cycle plays a crucial factor. However, the common elements are each employee wants to be successful in achieving individual goals:
– has its value to the company;
– adequate pay to improve the living standard & provide a good education for his/her children;
– to be recognized, respect and feel proud of what he/she contributes, making a significant impact on the organization’s success.
The takeaway is employee engagement is a lifelong journey instead of one or two episodes. The application for each organization will not be identical. It is a power to make a substantial financial impact on the organization, but it should come with authenticity.
