With the current world situation where COVID-19 will likely live with us, most of us are forced to work from home. Those attending school have transitioned mostly to online classes. All individuals, eg., parents, have switched to online shopping, than ever before. These activities have silently changed our career, living habits, behavior, communications, and we must become even more adapted to the digital world. Due to the severe impact of the pandemic crisis, employers have changed their investment and growth strategy to downsizing their office space but upgrading their digital technologies to ensure their competitive position in the industry.
Taken consideration of the above, employers are looking for talents who are capable and open to
– learn (be computer or technology savvy);
– adapt (respect and adopt the change with a positive attitude and response quickly);
– communicate (listen and interact with people via new technology platform);
– lead (coach and engage your team with trust and respect their distance, space, and flexibility)
For individuals, we witness the dynamic shift of the job market in a short window of time. If we want to be successful, we need to identify our strengths and apply them appropriately.
